Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District | WestK Cabaret Nights: Tickling Myself by Jim Hui
Description
To show off, or not to show off, that is the question.
Acting is a survival skill for an actor. Since graduating from university 12 years ago, Jim has found his footing on stage, in the arts sector, as well as in relationships. As an actor, he constantly finds himself in a passive state, waiting for an opportunity to show up. He has kept asking himself: “Why don’t we create our own stage?”
Bursting with joy, anger and grief, this stand-up comedy sees award-winning playwright and actor Jim reflecting on his winded journey as an actor, as he attempts to answer this big question in his career.
